A STRANGE FUNNY PHYSICAL ESCAPADE

Movement. Gesture. Invented speech. Experimental poetry. All four combine in House of X to explore the funny, disturbing and mysterious. A play-within-a-play, an artist is driven to tell stories using three actors which may or may not be derived from her own life. Autobiography collides with archetypal characters from myth and fairy tales to suggest that theatre is going on all around us, as well as in our imaginations. The thing is that this is not really a play at all, but a performance work ABOUT play-making.House of X will take its audiences on a wild ride of theatrical experimentation that will leave you speechless.

“Alexandrowicz is a revolutionary in his own right...”
